Our History
Duffield Dental Practice was established by Dr. Andrew Marshall as a single handed practitioner. Having graduated from Bristol University in 1983, he purchased a small dental practice on Ecclesbourne Avenue in Duffield in 1984. Initially operating just two mornings a week, Dr. Marshall swiftly expanded the practice to full-time operations. In 1993 he and his wife, Dr. Juliet Marshall, took a significant step forward by acquiring the current premises which they transformed from a former restaurant into a state-of-the-art dental facility.
Recently Dr. Andrew Marshall has transitioned into an advisory role as he approaches retirement, entrusting the daily management and continuation of the practice’s legacy to son, Dr. Tristan Marshall. As the principal dentist today, Tristan maintains the practice's long-standing reputation for skilled, modern dental care. Juliet continues to contribute her expertise both in the surgery and in the role of practice manager.
The practice has welcomed Dr. Adam Steventon, a special interest dentist who attends on strategic days, further enhancing the range of services offered. Under this new generation of dental care Duffield Dental Practice is experiencing growth in patient numbers and continues to serve the community with the same dedication and commitment that marked its founding.
